Aestec Services is looking for motivated young people to join our 2027 Apprentice Plumbing Intake at QAL and RTY in Gladstone. 

Gladstone, Queensland – RTY & QAL
Commencing January 2027
On-the-job training and support throughout your apprenticeship

This is a full-time position with a 38-hour work week over four years, with the opportunity for ongoing employment after successfully completing your apprenticeship.

What does a Plumber do?

As a Plumber, you’ll learn how to:

• Install and maintain water, drainage and piping systems
• Read plans and technical drawings
• Use hand and power tools safely
• Diagnose and solve plumbing issues
• Work on a variety of industrial and project-based work
• Work as part of a skilled team supporting local industry

Obtain your QBCC Plumber & Drainer Licence

We’re looking for people who:

• Have a genuine interest in Plumbing
• Enjoy practical, hands-on work
• Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Can commit to completing a 4-year apprenticeship
• Work well in a team
• Can follow instructions and pay attention to detail
• Are committed to workplace safety
• Are willing to complete both TAFE studies and workplace training
• Can pass a pre-employment medical

Bonus points if you have:

• Completed Year 12 by 1 January 2027
• A driver’s licence (provisional licence accepted)
• An Industry White Card
• School subjects, projects or hobbies related to construction, engineering or practical trades
• Volunteer or work experience that demonstrates initiative and a willingness to learn

No previous industry experience is required – we’re looking for people with a great attitude and a willingness to learn.
