Leading Hand Carpenter – Long-Term Opportunity with Aestec Services

Location: Gladstone QLD
Hours: 48 hours per week (Mon–Fri)
Duration: Ongoing, long-term work

Ready to step up and lead from the front? Aestec Services is currently seeking an experienced Leading Hand Carpenter to join our team on a long-term project at Yarwun on the projects team. If you’re a hands-on leader with a strong carpentry background and the drive to get the job done right — this is your opportunity to build something meaningful.

Scope of Works Includes:

• Formwork construction
• Small concreting works – including steel fixing and pours
• General carpentry tasks
• Leading a small team to ensure safe, quality, and timely delivery

Skills & Experience Required:

• Qualified Carpenter with demonstrated site-based experience
• Proven leadership or Leading Hand experience
• Strong understanding of formwork and minor concreting
• Ability to read and interpret plans and follow scopes of work
• Solid understanding of WHS and ability to lead a team safely
• Construction White Card
• High level of reliability, initiative, and communication

Bonus Points For:

• Civil experience operating excavators, skid steers, rollers, or trucks
• RIIs or VOCs for plant machinery
• Experience in industrial or heavy industry environments
