CQShines Charity Gala

Last month we partnered with CQShines Hospital Foundation to present the CQShines Charity Gala.
Hosted at the elegant Gladstone Entertainment Convention Centre, the event brought together a vibrant mix of community leaders, philanthropists, and passionate supporters, all united by a shared mission: to raise funds for Gladstone Hospital.
This incredible night raised funds for ground-breaking equipment in Gladstone Hospital's operating theatre. This surgical telehealth system will bring real-time virtual assistance from specialist doctors across the country, directly into our operating theatres during critical moments.
CQShines Hospital Foundation Deputy Chair, Kalair McArther, welcomed the gala with an incredible personal story. Kalair experienced first-hand the life-saving benefits of specialist telehealth systems, when they saved her son's life after he fell critically ill on a family camping trip.
The gala was a huge success, securing their goal, and bringing the total funds raised to an incredible $151,300.
As a result, Gladstone will be the first public hospital in the country to receive this life-saving surgical telehealth technology.
Driven by a shared passion, the team at CQShines Hospital Foundation support the people in our community in a vital way, with their objective to advance, support and promote the health of Central Queenslanders. Through our partnership, our team at Aestec Services aim to serve and support them in this mission.
We know the challenges that receiving complex and specialist medical care can bring when living regionally, and we are incredibly proud to support CQShines in their goal to increase healthcare accessibility for our community.
