Project Details
Capital project to upgrade the existing hydrate stockpile infrastructure and loadout facility. This project involves the construction of a new stockpile pad, shed, conveyors and associated structures and ancillary equipment in order to effectively store and reclaim hydrate to load onto ships at the wharf at Fisherman’s Landing.
Works are conducted under tight shipping shutdown windows with high schedule impact risk to the client.
Work Includes
• Removal/Decontamination & Storage of existing Durabase tiles
• Heavy demolition of existing concrete structures
• Installation of new stockpile pad including:
• Excavation
• 1.5mm HDPE Liner
• Blinding
• 360tn N28 Reinforcement
• 2 x Consecutive 600m3 Concrete Placements
• 800m3 detailed concrete structures for transfer towers, load out footings, walls, beams and footings
• Installation of 2 new 450mm HDPE buried cooling towers pipelines
• Approximately 25,000 man hours to complete
